The Innovation Leadership competency credential offers the core courses in the innovation leadership sequence and provides the theory, concepts, and hands-on activities that foster and develop the skills and abilities that support the creative process. Graduates will be able to lead change within their industry, careers, communities, and personal lives. The Black Belt in Innovation Engineering, offered by the Innovation Engineering Institute (www.innovationengineering.org ) is achieved by successfully completing all module assignments within the three courses. Work to achieve the Black Belt is embedded throughout the three courses. Hence, completing the three courses assures the Black Belt certification only if all modules are successfully completed within the three courses.
