The Importance and Responsibility of Course Selection

A student is responsible for meeting all requirements for graduation and must be in good standing. Faculty advisors may assist in planning, but the final responsibility for meeting graduation requirements rests with each student.

Course Substitutions

Any deviations from the major-specified courses must be documented in the Registrar's Office by an "Approved Course Substitution/Equivalency Request" or other official documentation. To avoid scheduling difficulty and future graduation problems, this documentation should be submitted prior to the student registering for the substitute course at Penn College or at another institution. Students can request a course substitution/equivalency through their academic school office. Please check the Transfer Course Equivalency Search before requesting a course substitution for an external transfer course.
