Mechanical Estimating

Introduction to how mechanical estimates are prepared during the planning and bidding stages of construction projects. Discussion and laboratory work cover how to generate cost data of building mechanical elements to prepare and use as an adaptable tool to estimate HVAC projects. Focus on concepts and practices related to project management, customer relations and design-build projects. Additional topics include cost analysis of HVAC designs and developing alternative cost for project budgeting.
