Study of intermediate algebra and trigonometry, designed to prepare students for coursework in their technical majors. Topics include algebraic expressions, linear equations, ratios, proportions and variation, systems of equations, geometry, right triangle trigonometry, functions, and graphs. Emphasis on problem solving and technical application as well as the use of technology. Not designed to prepare students for calculus. (formerly MTH124)
