Examination of the idealism that frequently motivates individuals to select the human services fields as a career by exploring the real demands of working with coworkers, rules, regulations, policies, procedures and customs of organizations. Emphasis on dealing with personal issues that may influence the provision of services to clients, and the development of a personal plan of action for surviving in the field as an ethical, self-caring practitioner.
