Forklifts, Mobile Elevated Work Platforms & Scissor Lifts

Introduction to the safe operation of Class 1, 4, 5 and 7 rough terrain forklifts (RTFL), mobile elevated work platforms (MEWP) and scissor lifts.  Topics include safety regulations; basic forklift, MEWP and scissor lift operating techniques; and machine maintenance. Course prepares students for certifications in Class 1, 4, 5 and 7 forklifts; MEWPs; and scissor lifts.

3 Credits: 2 Lecture, 3 Lab
