Medically oriented study of the structure and function of the human body, using homeostasis as a unifying concept. Topics include overviews of the scientific method, chemistry of life, cell biology and tissue structure and function, in addition to detailed coverage of the skeletal, muscular, endocrine, integumentary, and reproductive systems with pertinent pathology discussion. Intended for students specializing in health-related and science majors.
