Introduction to engineered systems design. Topics include heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics as they relate to HVAC systems as well as an introduction to building thermal load calculations and basic air distribution design. The different types of equipment and the proper selection for each application are covered. Fall Only.
