Business Computer Applications Using Spreadsheet

MIS211

Analysis and application of electronic spreadsheets as a business decision-making tool. Advanced spreadsheet development topics include planning, creation, formatting, graphing, maintenance, what-if analyses, troubleshooting, and data management. Design and apply basic macros to automate and enhance the use of the spreadsheet. (Formerly CSC211)

Introduction to Data Mining

MIS318

Introduction to data mining concepts and techniques.  Focus on the principles of analysis of large data sets to find novel and useful information that might not be found using traditional computer science of information retrieval practices.  The steps of data prepossessing, data mining and post processing will be followed.
