Hydraulics for Operators

HEO171

Hydraulic principles, including explanation of how flow and pressure are created within a hydraulic system. Study includes the components involved in hydraulic systems and their placement in mobile hydraulic systems. Demonstrations show how these components work and what to look for from an operator's perspective of developing problems associated with these components. The information gained will help the operator communicate problems associated with the hydraulics on a piece of equipment to a technician. Information on safety, hydraulic maintenance, and conductor application is included. Spring Only.
