Registered Apprenticeship Credential

This course exists for the purpose of verifying completion of a Registered Apprenticeship (from any state or the U.S. DOL) that consists of at least 1.5 years (3,000 hours of on-the-job training) and a minimum of 216 hours of classroom instruction. Students should submit their nationally recognized Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship.

Apprenticeship Technology Capstone

BAT296

Individualized learning experience that consolidates knowledge of a technical discipline, acquired via a Registered Apprenticeship experience, with the College's Core Education model. Working under a faculty mentor, the student will complete a culminating project that identifies a problem in practice, framed within applicable literature, and espouses strategies for solving or mitigating the problem. This course is offered via independent study and requires permission of the instructor for enrollment. As needed.
