Theory and application of electronic flight instrument and avionics systems as found in modern aircraft. Topics include the markings and operation of gyroscopic, temperature, direction, and pressure-operated instrument systems. Skills developed include installing, inspecting, and servicing of aircraft instruments and their systems. Theory and operation of aircraft communication and navigation systems, including cockpit displays and integration of the autopilot. Advanced BITE testing and troubleshooting concepts. Spring Only.
