Introduction to reciprocating engine installation and operation and an exploration of various engine systems. Topics include adjustment of fuel metering components, propellers, magnetos and other components to ensure safe and efficient operation; identification of the various components associated with fuel systems; fire protection and extinguishing systems; and engine airworthiness inspection procedures. Fall Only.
