Emphasis on the study and recognition of the visual forms of art, especially painting, sculpture and architecture. Includes the study of the function of design; techniques of execution; and the scientific, political, economic, social, and literary dimensions of the period. The history of art from the 16th Century up to and including the 20th Century will be explored. (ART)
