Placement Testing Accommodation Requests

All students who enroll at Penn College must take a math test to determine appropriate placement in college level classes.

To schedule an accommodated placement test, log into your Applicant dashboard and request to take an accommodated test. After selecting accommodated placement test, you will be prompted to submit a self-disclosure form.  Accommodations for placement testing are based on the history of the services and testing accommodations that you received in high school.

Academic Accommodation Requests

Students interested in receiving academic accommodations should complete a self-disclosure form and submit documentation.

After documentation is reviewed and you are registered with Disability and Access Resources, you will schedule an Accommodation review meeting. During this appointment, our staff will review the steps necessary to use eligible accommodations and notify faculty regarding accommodations at your request. You play an in important role by advocating for yourself and communicating your needs, and Disability and Access Resources is here to support you along the way!

Although documentation will be reviewed on a rolling basis, we recommend students submit their documentation by the following deadline dates in order to ensure accommodations are in place by the start of the semester:

Semester Submission Deadlines:

  • June 1 (for Fall semester)
  • December 1 (for Spring semester)

On-Campus Housing Accommodation Requests

In order to receive on-campus housing accommodations, complete a self-disclosure form and submit documentation from a qualified professional that supports the request and describes the need for the accommodation to Disability and Access Resources.
