The Clean Energy Center has launched a weatherization career readiness program that opens the door to well-paying job opportunities. This program not only supports the weatherization industry in Pennsylvania by supplying in-demand workers from technical schools but also helps achieve the state’s residential weatherization goals.

Weatherization Career Readiness Program

Our weatherization career readiness program seeks to establish meaningful partnerships between technical high schools and weatherization employers throughout the state, introducing students to exciting opportunities in the field. Participants will earn industry-recognized credentials, gain valuable skills and experiences, and connect with industry professionals. Schools will benefit from enhanced curriculum resources, equipment, and training to effectively prepare students for diverse career paths. Additionally, employers will receive support and incentives to invest in recruiting and hiring these students.
