Zachary Gump

Zachary Gump is the Senior Program Manager of Commercial Buildings for the Clean Energy Center. Zachary is overseeing CEC’s Commercial Building training program area, including Building Operator Certification and related courses that teach facility personnel how to reduce the energy consumption of their buildings.

Prior to employment at Penn College, Zachary spent seven years in K-12 facilities management. As the Director of Buildings and Grounds for the South Middleton School District, Zac managed nearly 500,000 square feet of educational space, including a LEED Gold Certified elementary school. Zachary last served as the Director of Operations for the Dover Area School District, where he oversaw and managed 1,000,000 square feet of educational facilities.

Zac earned his Master of Science in Project Management and Operations from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022. Additionally, he is a Pennsylvania Certified School Business Administrator and served as a vice-president for the Central Region School Facilities Managers Group.

Outside of work, Zac enjoys hunting, fishing, and umpiring baseball.
