RTSS annual awards for 2024-25 will likely again range from $500 to $2,500. There’s no separate application to be considered for the RTSS. Simply complete your FAFSA and PA State Grant Form as early as possible in the current year and you are potentially eligible. PHEAA administers this program for Pennsylvania residents and makes award determinations.
For 2024-25, we expect Fall 2024 RTSS award notifications to begin in late December or January.
Eligibility
Eligibility requirements for 2024-25 are similar to PA State grants, with a few significant exceptions:
- RTSS is not for first-year students; you must have earned at least 24 college credits.
- Your college grade-point average (GPA) must be 2.50 or higher.
- Your family income must not exceed $175,000.
