Liz Waugh is the Virtual and Distance Learning Initiatives Librarian and a liaison for the School of Engineering Technologies’ Industrial & Computer Technologies division. She is an advocate of information literacy skills for all and greatly enjoys teaching those skills to students. A graduate of Clarion University, Liz first came to Penn College as a graduate intern during the spring semester of 2018, after which she was hired in September 2018. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a Minor in Business Administration from Lycoming College and a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Clarion University.
A Pennsylvania native, Liz loves being out in nature, reading, and knitting. Since she was a child, she has loved to read books on a variety of subjects (though her favorite genres are mystery and fantasy). Every day as a librarian brings new challenges and questions, and Liz is happy to help library users find the resources they need.
