Follow the transformation of Penn College's 125-acre Heavy Construction Equipment Operations Site from a wide-open training space to the competition playground where 100 teams will battle it out for top bragging rights. The video shows how Penn College faculty, staff and students, as well as corporate partners, prepared the college’s site at Brady Township for the competition that will take single-seat, off-road vehicles through various challenges, including a four-hour endurance race.

That is the rare company where coach Angela Stackhouse’s Penn College Wildcats find themselves. During Monday morning’s selection show, several members of the team and coaching staff gathered to watch online, where the announcement was met with screams and cheers of joy.
On the eve of their Saturday commencement ceremony, 12 students completing their bachelor’s degrees in architecture & sustainable design presented their culminating works in The Gallery at Penn College. The reception included family members, faculty, classmates, alumni and industry professionals. Each graduating senior was tasked with the design and development of a significant building in a location of their choice.
Just a few days following the conclusion of the Spring semester, Penn College welding faculty returned to their 55,000-square-foot lab to offer training for 10 high school educators from throughout the state. The teachers spent two days learning about gas metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and advanced welding technology such as the college’s electron beam welder.
Pennsylvania College of Technology has appointed Andrea M. Campbell assistant dean of curriculum & instruction in Academic Affairs. Campbell officially began her duties on May 13. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of curriculum and instruction processes, faculty professional-development initiatives, new-faculty development and the First Year Experience course.
The Community Arts Center spotlight shone brightly on graduates as they walked across the stage during Penn College's three commencement ceremonies, held May 10-11 at the historic theater in downtown Williamsport. More than 600 graduates chose to enjoy their moment in the sun (despite some rain) and shared the occasion with family and friends, many of whom cheered loudly and wept quietly, celebrating the newest Penn College alumni. The stage is no bigger than on the national championship level and three Penn College teams will be there this week. The golf team is in Boulder City, Nevada, where play begins Tuesday in the NCAA Division III Championship. The women’s softball team, fresh off winning the United East Championship on Saturday, will play in D-III action Thursday-Saturday at the regional level of the NCAA championships. Archers will compete Thursday-Sunday in the USA Archery Collegiate Target Nationals in Statesboro, Georgia.
Pennsylvania College of Technology conducted three commencement ceremonies on May 10-11 for about 725 students who completed academic requirements during the Spring 2024 semester. Pennsylvania College of Technology presented honors to four alumni during Spring 2024 commencement ceremonies, held May 10-11 at the Community Arts Center in downtown Williamsport. Kate McCall Stepnick, of Bloomsburg, received the Alumni Humanitarian Award; Daniel T. Hornberger, of Seven Valleys, and Richard C. Hornberger, of Mechanicsburg, were recognized with Distinguished Alumni Awards; and Corey A. Sarver, of Sykesville, Maryland, accepted the Alumni Mentorship Award.
