The Tutoring Center at Pennsylvania College of Technology recently received the International Tutor Certification from the College Reading and Learning Association. CRLA certification establishes professional standards for tutor-training curricula, training and tutor evaluation, said Dr. Mary A. Sullivan, director of Academic Support Services at Penn College.
All 23 Class of 1999 graduates in the Occupational Therapy Assistant major at Pennsylvania College of Technology who took the national certification exam in March have passed, marking the 11th consecutive time that students in the associate's-degree program registered a 100-percent pass rate.

For the first time in the four-year history of its archery program, Pennsylvania College of Technology will be the site of the National Archery Association's 2000 U.S. Intercollegiate Championships from May 17-20. The 23-team field, sporting 146 archers, will arrive Tuesday, May 16, with individual competition beginning Thursday, May 18.
