A $1,000 scholarship from the Aircraft Electronics Association Educational Foundation has been awarded to Kyle E. Laughman of York, enrolled in Pennsylvania College of Technology's bachelor-degree major in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Laughman was chosen to receive the David Arver Memorial Scholarship from the AEA.
A giving Penn College community truly made a difference at the Red Cross Bloodmobile on Wednesday, donating a total of 133 pints surpassing the goal of 100 pints set for the emergency on-campus collection. A total of 170 people registered to donate, including 14 first-timers.

The recipients, Kirk D. Evans of South Williamsport, and Rebecca A. Weaver, Williamsport, are entering a health sciences major, were born at Williamsport Hospital and graduated from high school this year.

The Nathaniel Project is a program designed to assist current Pennsylvania College of Technology students who have questions or concerns about the use of alcohol and other drugs. An informal program, The Nathaniel Project is based on the self-help and drop-in models of service. Students who have knowledge of substance abuse staff the office as peer consultants.
