SGA Representatives Deliver Homecoming Donation to Camp Victory
Friday, December 21, 2012
This year's Student Government Association representatives on the Penn College Homecoming Court recently presented a $1,777 check to Camp Victory at Millville, a 120-acre haven for children with lifelong medical needs. Homecoming King Tyler J. Durham, an information technology: information assurance and security concentration major from Newville, and Ashley J. Maietta, a nursing major from Hughesville, delivered the donation to camp founder Dennis Wolff. Homecoming candidates collected a total of $3,554 through canisters at the Bush Campus Center information desk; Camp Victory received half of the money as Durham and Maietta's selected beneficiary. (Homecoming Queen Michelle C. Markardt, an early childhood education student from Hawley, recently made a similar presentation to her charity of choice.)
