A new exhibit of photographs has opened in the Bookmarks in the Madigan Library, part of the student work completed for the Commercial Photography course (PHO230) taught by Gary R. DiPalma, assistant professor of graphic design, in the Spring 2010 semester. Photographs were taken in four basic subject areas: fashion/portrait, food, product and architecture. The students learned to use a variety of camera formats, including large format, digital-medium format and digitalsingle-lens reflexcameras, electronic flash, studio lighting, digitization of conventional camera negatives and how to print using digital inkjet technology. Students whose work is displayed are Garrett C. Bingaman, Millmont; Carly M. Dreibelbis, State College; Amanda L. Eisner, Harrisburg; Alison D. Kundratic, West Chester; Matthew A.
