John Eckert, a 30-year employee of Reading Electric in Berks County, spoke Wednesday to electrical majors in two classes including assistant professor Ken C. Kuhns' electrical machinery analysis course. Eckert and co-worker Christopher Bashore provided an overview of the electrical motor-repair business and discussed testing and maintenance of direct-current motors. They also were at Penn College on Tuesday afternoon to discuss internships and other employment opportunities for students at the 52-year-old Pennsylvania company.
