Rider Park reforested through community service

A dozen students and Jaycie M. Loud, assistant director of student engagement, traveled to Rider Park over the weekend for the semester's final “(community) Service Saturday." Members of the Society for Plastics Engineers, Penn College Motorsports Association, Baja SAE, Black Student Union and Hospitality Connections Club helped to plant 36 trees on a portion of the nearly 900-acre site northeast of Williamsport. Afterward, the group enjoyed one of the preserve's hiking trails and the view from Doe Pen Vista.
