Workforce Development & Continuing Education Activity (July 1, 2006 - June 30, 2007)
Noncredit workforce development instruction:
- 3,009 students trained in open enrollment courses
- 2,116 students trained in contracted corporate courses
- 5,225 total noncredit students trained
Over $1.7 million in grant-funded training currently being administered to train over 13,500 students in 120 PA organizations.
Through PA's Guaranteed Free Training program, WDCE administered 2,352 workforce development grants totaling $16.1 million to train 93,748 employees.
Community Arts Center
Since opening in May 1993 the Community Arts Center has hosted 132,524 patrons for movies and 816,331 for live events for a total of 948,855 as of September 1, 2007.
