Get hands-on experience working with all types of late-model commercial vehicles, their systems, and related components.

On-Site Power Generation Technology (A.A.S.)

Learn the technical skills to evaluate, test, and troubleshoot power generators.

Caterpillar Equipment Technology (A.A.S.)

Thanks to our partnership with Caterpillar, you'll learn how to repair and maintain the latest brand-name equipment. 

Heavy Equipment Technology (A.A.S.)

Training in our extensive 48,000-square foot lab space, you'll hone the technical skills to maintain, service, and repair industry workhorses. 

Diesel Truck Maintenance Technician Certificate

This fully-loaded program pulls together the diverse skillset needed to launch a career as an entry-level technician in diesel truck preventative maintenance.

Bachelor Degree Pathway: Automotive Technology Management

Combine technical know-how with the leadership and administrative expertise needed to rise to a management position with an Automotive Technology Management degree.

Bachelor Degree Pathway: Business Management

Take your technical skillset and combine it with an education in business management to give you career flexibility in any industry with an Applied Management degree.

Diesel Performance Club’s ‘Accelerated Learning’ truck back on drag racing circuit

Pennsylvania College of Technology’s “Accelerated Learning” is at it again, and this time, the Diesel Performance Club’s 12,000-pound 1959 B-61 Mack truck advanced to the seventh-round finals of the Maple Grove Dragway’s 2025 Keystone Truckin’ Nationals. Narrowly missing the top prize by a margin of only .079 seconds, the crew has now celebrated two back-to-back years of success for a project 25 years in the making.

FedEx donates truck to Penn College diesel major

FedEx, a longtime supporter of Pennsylvania College of Technology’s diesel technology major, donated a 2014 Kenworth T680 semitrailer truck for students to utilize in a variety of hands-on diesel courses. “FedEx consistently supports our diesel technology program through advisory board, accreditation visits, diesel competitions and truck donations,” said Justin W. Beishline, corporate relations officer.
